Pre-requisites

Account Management

The following highlight the important steps to be carried out before starting to trade with ADCB Securities:

  • Funding your ADCB Account (for buying shares): Transfer cash to your ADCB Account through the following:
       A. ADCB Branches 
       B. ADCB Internet Banking
  • Transferring funds from your ADCB Account to any ADCB Account
       A. Transfer requests has to be duly signed
       B. Sent to ADCB Securities

Please note that only ADCB Securities Back Office can transfer funds out of your ADCB Account

Placing Orders

The following highlight how a trade is carried on:

  • Source of order: Either the person himself/herself or an authorized person
  • Nature of order: Buy / Sell / Modify / Cancel
  • Order Details: Company Symbol / Price / Volume
  • Execution of order: If the market price hits your price level and order has priority in the market, your order will be fully or partially filled
  • Settlement: Trading session + 2 business days

The actual settlement will take place through your ADCB Account two (2) days after the trading session

Orders can be placed, modified or cancelled by all ADCB Securities customers through the following trading channels:

  • ADCB Securities Mobile App
  • ADCB Securities Online Trading

Confirmation

You will receive confirmation on your executed trades by any of the following:

  • SMS confirmation: You will receive an SMS confirming your executed order
  • Invoice: You will receive a buy/sell invoice of executed trades via fax
  • Email confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation of your executed trades

Your mobile number, fax and/or email is required during the account opening process to receive confirmation on executed trades.
