Abu Dhabi, 17 August, 2010: Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank has been named Best Consumer Internet Bank in the UAE by Global Finance magazine at its 11th World’s Best Internet Bank Awards.
A panel of judges assessed ADCB based on several criteria, including its strategy for attracting and servicing online customers, success in getting clients to use its web offerings, growth in the number of on-line customers, breadth of product offerings, evidence of tangible benefits gained from the Bank’s Internet initiatives, and web site design and functionality.
ADCB@ctive Personal Internet Banking has provided internet banking capabilities since 2006, continuing to add more services every year. Customers can access their accounts online to view past transactions, credit card and loan statements, make transfers between ADCB bank accounts as well as transfers to other institutions, and pay their utility bills and credit card balances online. ADCB also has dedicated communication methods to allow customers to send messages directly to the Bank with queries, to modify their customer contact information and check the latest news from the Bank. Each service has been provided to make ADCB@ctive Personal Internet Banking fast and effective for customers.
